Presented by: Nature MetabolismNature Cell BiologyNature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology

The study of metabolism and metabolic diseases has spread from the field of endocrinology to all disciplines within the life sciences, leading to a spectacular diversification of metabolism research. The aim of this 3-day virtual conference is to bring together experts working on metabolic underpinnings of common pathologies, including cardiovascular disease, obesity and cancer. The unifying theme of this conference will be how the dysregulation of metabolism contributes to pathological states, and how metabolic pathways can be potential drug targets. With a broad scope, this will provide opportunities to highlight both common and unique underlying principles and pathways of metabolic malfunction in human pathology.
